
According to an official notice from Delhi University (DU), the circular announcing the extension of online courses for students because of the decline in the Air Quality Index is fraudulent.
Given the ongoing decline in the Air Quality Index (AQI) throughout Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), the Competent Authority has made the decision to continue offering classes online through Thursday, November 28, 2024.The examination and interview schedule will not change. The phony notice stated, “This is issued with the Competent Authority’s approval.”
To alert students to the phony notification that had been going around, the university posted it on its own website and on X, formerly known as Twitter.
On November 19, 2024, Delhi University (DU) announced that lessons would henceforth be held online through November 23, 2024, due to air pollution. Earlier, DU had also issued a warning about a phony notice that was making the rounds among students regarding the conduct of online classes.
